No. A smart plug on the water boiler is enough. A battery simply earns more.
What does it cost?
Nothing to join, and no monthly or yearly fee. Volton takes a share of what your device earns — if it earns nothing, so do we.
Will this wear out my battery?
No. Short, shallow cycles, always within the manufacturer’s limits.
Do I have to do anything?
No. Sign once. Everything after that is automatic.
