How does Volton communicate with assets?
No extra controllers
Our operations do not require any extra additions to your site. We communicate everything through the on-site router's static IP address using an IPSec VPN tunnel. We only need your loggers' IPs, and your inverters' and meters' IDs.
Manufacturer agnostic
Our systems allow for operations with all prominent inverter brands, including Goodwe, Sungrow, Deye and Huawei. We plan to add all major manufacturers and adapt based on partner needs.
Communication protocol
IEC or Modbus TCP protocol for communicating orders to assets.
